Welcome! Thank you for visiting my website.  I am a mental health professional with a License in Clinical Social Work (LCSW).  I have been a licensed therapist since 1995 and work with clients who reside in both the states of Oregon and Virginia, via Telehealth and in-person. 

My extensive work experience in schools, community mental health, and the private setting provides me with a versatile skillset for counseling with families and individuals of a wide age range.  Raised in a family of six children, and as the mother of three young adults, I see myself as objective, positive, encouraging, and supportive. Family is the context within which we first learn about interpersonal dynamics, relationships, and ultimately about how we operate in the world around us.  Family systems can be seen as the backdrop for the variety of experiences, emotions and situations out of which people grow and evolve.  Whether
